You can do everything just for one day.....
I used to stress myself out to the point where I could no longer carry through with my plans or ideas. In my head I was thinking about everything I needed to do....all at once.....and some things I wasn't quite ready for. I was living in the future. And with that came a great deal of anxiety. I was questioning everything; How can I do that? I want to do this...but I should do that! I can't do.......I should do...... Back and forth, back and forth.
No wonder I got stressed out!
I learned a valuable lesson;
There is nothing I SHOULD do!!!!!!!! I can do whatever I want to, IF I WANT to!!! (as long as I am woman enough to carry the consequences)
Other times I was lingering in my past....Why did this happen? Why me? Poor me...... Until I found myself feeling deeply depressed. I was going down memory lane, which for me, was not a very pleasant place to be. And there was very little I could do to change my past. All I could do was to learn to deal with the consequences. Why am I reacting this way? How can I better myself in this or that? And practice new skills.........over and over and over.......again....until I changed my patterns to something that soothed my dreams better, and supported my journey.
What I've found is that no matter what I do, I can do it for one day!
Just for today I'll...................put in whatever your goal is.
Then the next day...
......just for today I'll....................
Just For Today I'm gonna be proud of where I am in my life! Just for today I'm gonna enjoy my own company! Just for today I'm gonna love myself as I love my family and friends! Just for today I'm gonna feel confident and have faith that my life journey will take me to places I could never dreamed of! Just for today I'm gonna breathe and sense and enjoy my quiet mind!
