When I came to the USA i had a lot of baggage on my shoulders. Baggage that I'd been carrying from my early childhood. A lot of my memories I had suppressed, and I found that I needed to address them in order to overcome them. I put my story into a book; "Better Believe- A Story Of Hope".
It feels good for me to be able to refer to this book, instead of re-living it all the time through telling. While I've been here in Florida, The Palm Coast Observer did an interview with me in relation to my book. If you are interested you can read about it here; http://www.palmcoastobserver.com/article/flagler-beach-author-shares-story-hope

I have read "Better Believe, A story of hope" and am inspired by the beauty of resiliance and hope borne of belief in a better world. I encourage all to read Bodil's story to know the depth of humans is not always seen on their faces yet remains in their souls. Lady Love Rebel has transformed her suffering and confusion and despair into compassion, humor, strength and of course....art! Thank you for writing your story and letting us know you intimately as we navigate our own story in this cruel and generous life.
